Water is the essential constituent of life, and the primary stuff we are made of. We need water! But how much? The minimum amount we should be drinking a day would be half our weight in ounces, in other words, if I weight 200lbs, then I should be drinking 100 ounces of water a day as the minimum amount.
Without enough water our body reaches a state of dehydration in which one or more physiological functions are sacrificed, therefore we feel fatigue, discomfort, and eventually we become "sick".
Signs of dehydration are not so obvious if we are not used to drink a lot of water. Whenever our mouths are dry is already too late and we are in a more advanced state of dehydration.
Don't let yourself get dehydrated...drink tons of water throughout the day, specially on arising, before meals, and in between hours. My recommendation is to always use glass bottles. If not possible use an aluminum bottle, and if not possible a BPA-free bottle as the last resort. Don't ever drink from a plastic bottle that is not BPA-free, since the ions in the water bond with toxic substances from the plastic.
My recommendation as well, is to distilled your own water and drink it, being your primary source of minerals fruits, vegetables, and grains. You can also use "Cell Food", and amazing product that enriches the water with all the essential organic minerals and enzymes your body needs, or "Fulvic Mineral Complex", an amazing product as well.
If distilling is not possible, try to get water that received a reverse osmosis treatment or UV treatment, and as last resort, filtered water.
Normal tap water without filtering contains some chemicals like chlorine, fluoride, and arsenic, that could be harmful for you.
Drinking water with lemon in the mornings specially, helps your body become more alkaline, in other words, less acidic, and allows your physiological functions work more properly.
Learn to love water!

ReplyDeleteYou're right Carly!!
ReplyDeleteDehydration just doesn't let our body function correctly, and the toxins we breathe, drink, eat, and put in our skin stay within us.
On the other hand, when we eat clean, use natural products for our skin, breathe pure air, and drink tons of water, then our body cleans from all those toxins and we are poison no more!!
it has been interesting to learn about this more... i already drink water often and hardly anything else but it's always nice to learn in detail the importance of something you are doing...
ReplyDeletethanks for the post!
