FASTING

Fasting is the oldest remedy to cure yourself from diseases, and even better, to prevent yourself from getting sick.
Our bodies retain a fair amount of toxins since we are born, and because we eat all the time, and do other things our bodies need to work on, it cannot focus solely in the process of eliminating those toxins. We can detoxify our bodies through our diet, but even that is not as effective as fasting.
Water fasting, is the process in which a person eats nothing accompanied by drinking a good amount of water throughout the day, at least half your size in ounces, as I mentioned in my last post: "WATER".
For people not used to fasting, I recommend starting to fast twice a month for 24 hours. Then you can start fasting once a week from 24 to 36 hours, and when your body gets used to it, and has cleansed part of your toxins, you can continue fasting once a week and then every two or three months do a 3 to 4 days fasting.
The preparation and closing of the fasting is as important as the fasting itself, because if you don't prepare your body with good foods before starting the fast it won't be as effective, and if you don't break your fast with the right foods your body can get loaded of new toxins and big discomfort can take place instead of peace, relaxation, and the feeling of being clean.

The day you are going to start the fast you should not eat big amounts of food, to prevent your stomach from stretching and your digestive system from overworking.
The right foods, like fruits, raw vegetables, purees, and juices should take place of normal diet. Never mix fruits with other foods in your stomach. Eat your fruits always on empty stomach (at least 2 and 1/2 hours after eating, and don't eat anything at least 1/2 hour after), this will prevent fermentation in your digestive system, and therefore putrefaction.
You could have some fruit, and fruit juices for breakfast (I recommend to make your own juices to keep all the enzymes from the fruit. Pasteurized juices have no enzymes on them)then in the late afternoon (2 or 3 pm)have some puree from different vegetables (leek, potato and sweet potato, carrot, onion, etc.), and finally for dinner some salad with different types of raw vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, dandelion, sprouts of different kinds, and I recommend using Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar with "mother enzyme" as they call it). This will bring your body to a more alkaline state and ready to start fasting. Throughout this day and the day or days you are going to be fasting, drink plenty of water to let your body get rid of all the toxins.
To break the fast you could follow a similar diet as the one you used to open it, with fruit, fruit juices, purees and salad.
For long fast, you can add some herbal teas throughout the day (avoid green tea though).
If you are not used to fasting, you might feel some discomfort from all the toxins coming out...this is normal and it means you are getting clean!
Also, if you are not used to fasting, your body will pretend it is on starvation mode, when really it is just cravings. You won't be starving for even a 4 days fasting.

I'm sure some information skipped out of this post, so if you have any questions, let me know! Also, if you need more information this is the best book you can read, it links to the web page of the famous Paul C. Bragg:
